Very very steep with a bonus of a nice 9m road gap! Scared the living daylights out of me!!! It went very well and at last I did the ski jump. And if I say muddy, I mean MUDDY!!! It was an extremely technical and bike-breaking (literally) course and I have practically written off my Giant Boulder. Am thinking to buy myself a new bike, maybe All-Mountain. After the race (and the mud) I was mentally and physically exhausted and was even more after I heard that the the winner of the 60km route, Petrus Malherbe, rode a better time on his route than me on the 35km route!<br /><br />Cheers<br />PS.
